A Planning using ICT
It is important to acknowledge that students are already
interested and engaged in using technology, this creates many amazing
opportunities for schools and teachers to benefit from integrating some forms
of technology in the classroom and to make teaching and learning more
effective.
I selected a song for my children of their level. Looked for
the lyric on net and printed out. Each child was given a piece of song lyrics.
I tried with different fonts so that children get familiar with different book
prints.
This is one task using ICT which helped me to lighter my workload
while preparing my lesson.
I have downloaded a video on same song with the lyric so
that children can sing along with the video
I would love to share how effective my lesson was in my next
article.
It's true that using ICT lightens our workload but at the same time we can capture the attention more that what our teaching aid does in the class. Nice work and keep going

ReplyDeleteInnovative teaching and usage of ICT. Yes it's in our hand whether to make our classroom lively or not. As a saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Simply using ICT everytime to teach the concept is not necessary. Sometimes we can design fun activities beside teaching using ICT. That would be fun and sometimes, who knows children might have learnt a larger portion from that fun time.
ReplyDeleteICT is irreplaceable. Against the changing backdrop situation, ICT has now become hand and effective tool in carrying out the work in this era. Thus, ICT must be integrated into our daily teachings.
ReplyDeleteTeaching rhymes and songs through ict was and will be always a best method as it would provide tune and lyrics along. It would also motivate our learners interest.

Today ICT has become hand to hand as well as an effective tool in carrying out almost all the works especially teaching and learning in this era. Thus, ICT must be integrated into our daily teachings. And that you have proven madam, keep going.
